Welcome to Meerut Public School

Meerut Public School, Pallavpuram, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on Saturday, 15 August 2026, with immense pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour.

The programme began with an introduction highlighting the significance of the occasion, followed by the National Song. The ceremonial flag hoisting and National Anthem brought the school community together in a shared expression of respect and pride for the nation.

Students presented a patriotic song, followed by a speech by the Head Girl, a dance performance, and a patriotic poem recited by the Head Boy. The young learners of Balvatika also added their own special touch to the celebration with an engaging presentation.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Mukti Minocha encouraged students to understand that freedom also brings responsibility. She urged them to contribute to the nation through their actions and grow into conscientious citizens who uphold the values of respect, integrity, and compassion.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, reinforcing the significance of Independence Day as an occasion not only to celebrate India’s freedom but also to reflect on our responsibility towards its future.
